Myron D. Graham, DVM

Dr. Myron D. Graham is a General Practitioner who has been with Northside Animal Hospital since February of 2009.

A native of Homerville, Georgia, Dr. Graham has spent his life caring for animals in one way or another. As a youth, he was an active member of The National FFA Organization and participant in 4-H livestock programs. Then in high school and college, he worked as a Veterinary Technician for Dr. Kenneth T. Blount of Waycross, Georgia.

In 1994, Dr. Graham entered the University of Georgia and earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Agriculture (BSA) in Animal Science in 1998. While a student he was a member of the Golden Key Society. He was also a member of the Horse Judging Team and the Collegiate FFA. Upon graduation, he acted as a County Extension Agent for the University of Georgia Cooperative Extension Service.

By 2003, Dr. Graham’s love of animals had led him to Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine where he earned a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2007. During his time in veterinary school, won a Semester Achievement Award, and was a two-time recipient of the school’s Veterinary Colleague Award. His areas of particular veterinary interest include small animal critical care and small-animal internal medicine.

Dr. Graham is also a member of the Georgia Veterinary Medical Association, American Veterinary Medical Association, and the South Georgia Veterinary Medical Association. Dr. Graham and his wife Emily are the proud parents of two wonderful children. Harper and Walker enjoy helping their dad at the clinic and taking care of their horses, Bella and Gracie. The couple also has a Golden Retriever named Gabby. When not working or spending time with his family, Dr. Graham enjoys hunting, fishing, camping, and traveling.

Dr. Amy Purvis, Veterinarian

Dr. Amy Purvis graduated from Colorado State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2020. She was born and raised in Waco, Texas and received her BS in Animal Science from Oklahoma State University. While at Oklahoma State, she was on the polo team and participated in the Horseman’s Association. While at Colorado State University, Dr. Purvis was a member of several professional clubs and served as an offficer for the Student Chapter of the American Association of Equine Practitioners. Dr. Purvis has practiced primarily small animal medicine, with the occasional horse, cow or goat in Washington State since gradduating in 2020. Dr. Purvis is a member of AVMA and GVMA and looks forward to getting involved in the local community. Dr. Purvis and her husband Ryan enjoy traveling, cooking and spending time outdoors.

Katy Watson, Hospital Manager

Katy has one dog, a Cockapoo named Max. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, friends and enjoys volunteering in the community.

Lexi Benefield, Patient Care Director

Lexi is from Lakeland, GA. In her free time, she enjoys fishing with her husband and daughter and being outdoors.

Laura Graves, Groomer

Laura was born and raised in Missouri. She has a rottweiler mix named Coda, and a Dr. Pepper dog (23 flavors) named Tenley. If she’s not holding grooming shears, she has fabric shears in hand!

Kristen Jackson, Kennel Tech

Kristen is a dedicated kennel technician committed to providing compassionate care and maintaining a clean, safe environment for every animal. She values supporting the veterinary team and ensuring each pet receives comfort and attention during their stay.

Aniston Groom, Vet Tech

Aniston is a current student at ABAC studying animal science. In her free time, she enjoys being involved in her church and spending time with her friends and family.

Haley King, Vet Tech

Haley is from Lakeland, GA and a graduate of Salem College, where she earned her degree in Biology. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her two dogs and three cats, playing volleyball, and hanging out with friends.

Jake Permenter, Vet Tech

Jake is from Adel, GA and is currently enrolled at VSU where he is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in nursing.

Jordan Harbort, Vet Tech

Jordan is from Tifton, GA, where she lives with her 4 dogs and 2 cats. In her free time, you will find her baking and reading and preparing for her next adventure to Vet School!

Kylee Burrell, Vet Tech

Kylee is currently enrolled in school to obtain her veterinary technician license and a bachelor’s in animal science. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and her dog Howie.

Ren Whitley, Vet Tech

Ren is from Cairo, GA, where she lives with her fur babies, Dutton and Duke. She is an aspiring veterinarian with a lifelong passion for animal care and wellness. You will find Ren in her free time staying active and running, as she is a former collegiate soccer player with four years of competitive experience and continued love for staying active.

Addison Groom, Vet Assistant

Addison is a Valdosta local and is a biology major at VSU. She has a bearded dragon named River. When she is not working, Addison enjoys spending time with her friends and family.

Jenna DeBerry, Vet Assistant

Jenna loves the outdoors, traveling, music, and spending time with her son and family. Working with and caring for animals has always been her passion, so working at Northside Animal Hospital has been her dream job!

Savannah Hitchner, Vet Assistant

Savannah lives with her 2 dogs, Tate and Teddy. In her free time, she likes to read and spend time with family.

Mahala McNabb, CSR

Mahala is from Nashville, GA where she live with her dog Syl and her horse Valentine. In her free time you will find her reading and spending time with her family.
